The condensed base beer was transferred to freshly emptied Pedro Ximnez Sherry and rum barrels for 6 months, allowing the woody notes of the barrel to enhance the base beer's cherry, poppyseed, and subtly milky chocolate flavor profile, creating this truly pastry like, full bodied batch.
